












Originally from Long Island NY, Sammy Cesare (a.k.a. Sammy C.) graduated High School with a major in Art. While there, he participated in Stage Crew and Drama Class. In 1993, he moved to Scranton, P.A. and attended Marywood University for 5 years, graduating with a BA in Art/PE (with a focus on Sculpture and 3-D design). Sammy took several communications courses, including Dynamics of Speech Communication, Media Scriptwriting and Video Production. At College, Sammy Karate Club for 5 yrs, where he participated in public demonstrations, performing the art form for people. He participated in the Multicultural Club (the International Club): as club President, where he hosted (Emcee/ Master of Ceremonies) two "International Evening" performance events, in which club members performed for the University. Sammy also participated in Clown Ministery, a drama-improv club that performed for the nearby community and University. In June of 1998, Sammy Cesare moved to Hazleton PA, to pursue a professional career in Sports Entertainment (a.k.a. Professional Wrestling). He trained under former World Wrestling Federation superstar and Hall of Fame Legend Afa "the Wild Samoan." In the organization WXW (World Xtreme Wrestling) Sammy Cesare performed in the ring, as well as helped the organization behind-the-scenes as their webmaster. In 2002, the organization began airing weekly taped (and sometimes live) broadcasts, known as WXW Rage TV. Currently the program airs in several states on Service Electric, Comcast and Blueridge Cable. Sammy appears in several episodes as the head referee: "Senior Official Sammy C." During the summer of 2003, Sammy began furthering himself in the entertainment business by entering the Film Industry. His first project proved to be an impressive one as he worked as Creative Consultant on "Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy," alongside the Producer/Director, assisting with several script concepts, characters and scenes, as well as other pre-production elements. Sammy later appeared in the film as "Referee Sam", a character who mysteriously is following the adventures of the lead female. Since then, Sammy has appeared in several films and continues to work hard in the business, working in any and every capacity. He works regularly with the Philadelphia based company Liberty Bell Films ,headed by SAG actor Mark Kochanowicz. Sammy often travels throughout the tri-state area, either on an audition or working on a film project. Sammy's main focus currently is working as a Film Actor. In 2008, he worked on two episodes of the internationally syndiacted TV show Forensic Files (on Tru TV). He has also worked on feature films, such as Annapolis (2006), The Wrestler (2009) and The Last Airbender (2009). He currently studies Film at Weist Barron Ryan in Atlantic City, NJ and Theater at Raritan Valley Community College. Sammy also runs a website documenting photos from the several film shoots that he has been a part of: Indie Film Photos. "Whether I am in-front-of or in-back-of the camera, I plan to do anything I can to help out whomever I work for, so they can benefit from my hard work and dedication." |
